Jodie Foster has long been accused of a lesbian, with film producer Cydney Bernard, in Hollywood. But the double Oscar winner for the role in The Accused (1988) and Silence of the Lambs (1991) has always resolutely refused to discuss her sexuality.
To everyone's surprise, Jodie Foster finally shed some lights on the taboo she usually reluctantly to say anything.
Accepting the Sherry Lansing Leadership Award at Women in Entertainment breakfast at Beverly Hills Hotel earlier this week, Jodie Foster thanked "my beautiful Cydney who sticks with me through all the rotten and the bliss," reported DailyMail.
Jodie met Cydney on the set of the film Sommersby in 1993 and are raising two sons at their Malibu home.
Sons Charles, 9, and Kit, 6, were born by Jodie, their father was rumored to one of Jodie's old university friend from Yale, who is also said to be a gay.
