Despite of a Golden Globe nomination, the Grey's Anatomy actress Katherine Heigl may not go attend Gloden Globes awards ceremony if the writers' strike is still on in January. She told Entertainment Tonight

"I'm not crossing the picket line—not unless I'm contractually obliged to do so, which with the Golden Globes I'm not."

"The last episode we did, the writers were on strike, [but] we had to go to work every day and cross the picket line...it feels awful. Unfortunately, the actors were contractually obliged to be there. We could have been sued if we didn't go to work. But it's hard—I'd like to avoid it."

Actually Heigl is not the only person who boycotts the award, other people including James McAvoy (Atonement), David Cronenberg (Eastern Promises), Glenn Close (Damages), and Jeremy Piven (Entourage)
