Liu Xiang Gold Running Shoes are a pair of pure gold shoes carved with the name of world record-holding hurdler and Chinese Olympic champion Liu Xiang. The shoes, estimated to be valued at HK$238,000 (US$30,502), are replica of the ones that Liu Xiang wore in creating the 110-meter hurdles record at the Lausanne Super Grand Prix in 2006. They will be on display at Hong Kong Sha Tin Racecourse on the third day of this Chinese Lunar New Year, February 9. As Nike's swoosh logo is clearly seen on the golden shoes, we are not sure if they infringed the intellectual copyrights of Nike Inc.. Source: CRI
