The Quaker Oats Co. has recalled three of its Aunt Jemima Pancake & Waffle Mix products because of potential salmonella contamination from raw or undercooked ingredients.
The recall includes Original, Original Complete and Buttermilk Complete products. The recalled products, packaged in 2-pound and 5-pound boxes with best before dates between Feb. 8, 2009 and Feb. 16, 2009, contain the following 10-digit UPCs: 30000 43272, 30000 05040, 30000 05070 and 30000 05300.
No other Aunt Jemima, frozen Aunt Jemima or Quaker products are affected. No illnesses have been linked to the recall so far.
