Xi Jinping, newly-elected member of Chinese's powerful Politburo Standing Committee at the 17th Communist Party Congress in October 2007, is expected to be chosen as Chinese President Hu Jintao's deputy at National People's Congress to be convened on March 5, paving the way for him to become next China's next paramount leader in 2013.
