In a surprise move, Neville Isdell (biography), the chief executive of the Coca-Cola Co. will step down after four years as head of the world's largest beverage maker and be succeeded by president and chief operating officer Muhtar Kent (picture left, biography), the company announced in a senior succession plan without giving deliberately elaboration.
Muhtar Kent, who was born in Turkey 1952, will succeed Isdell as chief executive officer as of July 1, 2008. And Neville Isdell will remain chairman of the Board of Directors until the Company’s Annual Meeting of Shareowners in April 2009. Source: Moneytimes Tags:
