Cristiano Ronaldo, the 25-year-old Portuguese soccer star, has welcomed a son!

Cristiano Ronaldo announced the happy news on both Facebook and Twitter: “It is with great joy and emotion that I inform I have recently become father to a baby boy."

"As agreed with the baby’s mother, who prefers to have her identity kept confidential, my son will be under my exclusive guardianship. No further information will be provided on this subject and I request everyone to fully respect my right to privacy (and that of the child) at least on issues as personal as these are,” the footballer wrote.

Portuguese newspaper Correio da Manha claimed that the baby mama is a mystery American woman and she gave birth just one month ago, Dailymail reported.

Paris Hilton reportedly hooked up the 130 million dollar soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo, just hours after she ended her relationship with Doug Reinhardt.

According to reports, Paris hit Nobu with sister Nicky last night while Cristiano dining at the Brazilian restaurant Fogo De Chao at the same town. They met with each other coincidentally at the club MyHouse around about 11:20. Then the two were romantically linked.

It seems Cristiano Ronaldo will not remain at Manchester United this summer. The respected UK Guardian newspaper reported the Portugal winger who possibly will help Portugal win Eruo 2008 Cup had decided to move Real Madrid 'a long time ago'.

'They have been talking for at least two months, and it was all agreed with Real Madrid weeks ago. All this chat from [Real president] Ramón Calderón that he does not want to upset Manchester United, and Cristiano Ronaldo cannot be bought because he belongs to another club, is absolute rubbish. Update: Ronaldo publicly expressed his intention to move from MU to Real Madrid after his team was eleminated from Euro 2008.
