Misty May-Treanor DWTS Out: Achilles Tendon Injuries May force Misty May-Treanor to Leave Dancing With the Stars! According to Cheryl Brooke who is Treanor's fellow contestant on DWTS Seanson 7, the sand volleyball ace who sustained injuries when practicing dances on Saturday, will be out of the competition.

Olympic gold medalist Misty May-Treanor’s “Dancing With the Stars” days are over, according to competitor Brooke Burke, who told a morning radio show that the Olympic gold medalist has a torn Achilles tendon.

Monday morning on 104.3 MY FM’s Valentine in the Morning, Burke confirmed that the beach volleyball star is out of the competition and possibly faces surgery this week.

However, Dancing With the Stars producers who were already accused by some hiding Misty's injuries are yet to release a statement on whether she can continue to compete on the show or not after doctors reevaluate her condition today. Wish Misty May-Treanor recovers well soon!

Sad, sad news! 2008 Beijing Olympic Games sand volleyball gold medalist Misty May-Treanor sustained an disclosed injury on Friday when practicing for the DWTS. Though Misty was immediately received the medical treatment, it seemed she couldn't recover soon to compete on the show. What's the worse, according to Access Hollywood, Misty May-Treanor needs to be done a surgery.

Olympic gold medalist Misty May-Treanor will leave “Dancing With the Stars” after suffering an injury, Access Hollywood has learned.

A source close to the show revealed to Access that the volleyball star is out of the competition and will require surgery.

Misty May-Treanor's quit from DWTS, may give a second chance for Kim Kardashian who was eliminated last week. RealityTVMagazine.com is reporting that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is a possible replacement.
