Laurie Drew, (or Lori Drew, Lorry Drew) is the hoaxer who caused 13-year-old girl Megan Meier to hang herself in the bedroom. In an surprising decision, police eventually ruled that Laurie Drew had committed no crimes. Update: St. Charles County, Missouri, Prosecuting Attorney Jack Banas said Lori Drew will not be sought in the case of Megan Meier's MySpace suicide case.

Update: Lori Drew was indicted May 15, 2008, in California where MySpace is headquartered in Beverly Hills by a federal grand jury on one count of conspiracy and three counts of accessing protected computers without authorization to obtain information to inflict emotional distress. Lori Drew was charged with violating MySpace's terms of use because of using a fictitious name.
