The Nutty Buddy athletic cup designed by former Royal pitcher Mark Littell (picture left), can protect the full groin area of the boys while playing baseball, softball, ice hockey, football or other contact sports.
There are four sizes of the protective cup come with macho names: “The Hammer (youth),” “The Boss (Junior/SM),” “The Hog (L)” and for really big men, the XL-sized “Mongo,” a salute to a the ogrelike character in the movie “Blazing Saddles. Each of them cost $19.95.
The primary advantage to the Nutty Buddy is that it's anatomically correct, which makes it more comfortable. Unlike traditional shell-shaped cups, the Nutty Buddy is wider, deeper and full of curves, which makes it more comfortable.
