Charlton Heston, the legend Hollywood actor who was famous for larger-than-life film figures, passed away on Saturday April 6 at his Beverly Hills home. He was 84. The death cause was not revealed but the actor was known suffering symptoms consistent with Alzheimer's disease.
Charlton Heston was best known for the role Moses in Cecil B. DeMille's 1956 Biblical extravaganza The Ten Commandments and Judah Ben-Hur in William Wyler's 1959 epic film Ben-Hur for which he won the Best Actor of Academy Awards.
Charlton Heston was survived by wife Lydia Heston, son Fraser Clarke, daughter Holly Heston Rochell and three grandchildren. Source: LAT
