As part of the sponsorship to China’s national track and field team for 2008 Beijing Olympics, Ping An of China revealed an insurance policy worth $13.3 million for Chinese hurdler Liu Xiang's legs.
"You can't really put a concrete figure on this. They're priceless." Liu Xiang said.

The International Association of Athletics Federations has annulled Marion Jones' results since the start of September 2000, including her Olympic and world championship titles from the record books as a result of her admission that she used BALCO supplied 'the clear' drug before the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games. Track and field's governing body also told her to return her estimated $700,000 in prize money from that period and gave a two-year ban. Joe Kennedy, former Colo. Rockies pitcher died at home in Florida early morning on November 23. He was 28.
Kennedy, the left-hander won 43 games for five teams in seven seasons, passed out at home and was taken to a local hospital, where he was was pronounced dead.
The official cause of his death could not immediately be determined, though some sources are indicating it may have been a brain aneurysm.
Joe Kennedy, is survied by his wife, Jami, and their 1-year-old son, Kaige.
