Shante Broadus, Snoop Dogg’s Wife Arrested Over Driving Under Influence

Shante Broadus, wife of rapper Snoop Dogg, was arrested over alleged driving under the influence of alcohol in Orange County, California, on Saturday, June 14.

According to Fullerton police Lt. Craig Brower, Shante Broadus was busted about 12:15 a.m. yesterday and was taken to Fullerton City jail. She was booked for a misdemeanor DUI and then released without a bond but given a notice to appear in court.

Shante Broadus, 32, is dubbed the "Boss Lady" and currently runs a clothing line under the name "Cocoa Reed". She also has her own label Boss Lady Entertainment which is home to artist Lady of Rage, formerly of Death Row Records, according to Memphisrap.

Shante Broadus and Snoop Dogg, real name Calvin Broadus Jr. were two high school sweethearts. The couple who now lives in in Sherman Oaks, CA, got married in 1997 and have three children together Corde, 13, Cordell, 10, and Cori, 7. In 2004, Snoop Dogg filed for divorce from Broadus citing irreconcilable differences, but later the couple reconciled. Source: AP
