Karina Smirnoff and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, two of Dancing With The Stars professionals, were engaged, it was revealed by E!Online! According to the report, Karina Smirnoff was proposed by Maksim Chmerkovskiy right before the midnight of New Year Eve of 2009, with the latter sealing the deal with a Harry Winston number.
The engagement shocked at least me if not others, because after her break-up with former boyfriend Mario Lopez last June, Karina Smirnoff was not seen on a relationship with any man, while Maksim Chmerkovskiy appeared on The Insider on November 6 to appeal female viewers to take a video contest and win a date with him. So it now turns out a crap?
