Danielle Fischel--full name Danielle Christine Fishel--former child star and a teen heartthrob on ABC's Boy Meets World, was arrested on Thursday just before 5 a.m. for a drunken driving warrant from Los Angeles County. Danielle Fischel (picture left), usually spelt as Danielle Fishel, was arrested after officers stopped a car she was in, but released from jail shortly after her arrest.
Fishel was born on May 5, 1981 in Mesa, Arizona. She began acting professionally at the age of ten. Since 1991, She spent more than seven years playing Topanga Lawrence, the love interest of "Boy Meets World" star Ben Savage.
Fishel was on the cover of Seventeen in December 1998. She took home a 1998 Young Star for Best Performance by a Young Actress in a Comedy TV Series. In June 1999, she was one of "The 21 Hottest Stars Under 21" as presented by Teen People.
In 2006, Fishel appeared as a guest on The Tyra Banks Show where she discussed her dramatic weight loss with the use of NutriSystem. Following her appearance on the show, Fishel became a spokesperson for Nutrisystem. She also became a special correspondent for the Tyra show starting in early February 2007.
As to her personal life, Danielle Fischel once dated her Boy Meets World co-star, Ben Savage. Later, she dated Justin Timberlake's *N Sync band mate Lance Bass, who revealed that he was gay in 2006. *_~
