British Prince William, the 25-year-old mega-rich royal, has bought a rather special Christmas gift for his girlfriend Kate Middleton - a pair of FAKE diamond earrings.
William, who helped by a female friend, a personal shopper and his protection officers, spent more than an hour at Selfridges on London’s Oxford Street.
He chose a pair of white gold earrings with cubic zirconia stones by British designer Dinny Hall, which is worth of only £410 (about $820).
