Survivor Scandal! Denise Martin, a school lunch lady from Massachusetts who finished the fourth on the finale of CBS's Survivor: China (the winner is Todd Herzog, a former Southwest flight steward and openly gay) said she’d been demoted to janitor because of her participation in the show. Denise Martin's claim had prompted the Survivor boss Mark Burnett granted her $50,000. But Martin's superior Douglas Schools Superintendent Nancy Lane said she was actually promoted to full-time custodian in March, a job which came with more benefits and higher pay.
