Wayne County prosecutor Kym Worthy charged Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick and his former chief of staff Christine Beatty with a combined 12 counts indictment on perjury, obstruction of justice, and misconduct charges over their sworn oath denials on the once romantic connection.
Kwame Kilpatrick and Christine Beatty, both married, were disgraced after their sexually explicit short text messages dating back to 2002 and 2003 were exposed by Detroit Free Press this January. Since Marion Jones has went jail for perjury, So why not Kwame Kilpatrick and Christine Beatty?
