Star Jones has split her husband of three and half years, Al Reynolds, according to the media report on Sunday.
MSNBC cited the National Enquirer's report said Star Jones has sent Al Reynolds the splitting papers a month ago.
“Star is planning to divorce Al. I think Star felt Al had spent their marriage riding her success while she did all the heavy lifting. She resented it. Deep down, Star is a very old-fashioned woman who believes a man should support her emotionally, physically and financially. She now believes Al failed her.” said an insider.
Star Jones, 46 and Al Reynolds, 40, met on November 13, 2003 at the New York City celebration party of the release of an Alicia Keys album. Star accepted Al's marriage proposal and a princess cut diamond engagement ring on February 15, 2004 NBA All-Star game in Los Angeles. On November 13, 2004, the couple married in a lavish wedding held at St. Bartholomew's Church in New York City. Among the 450 guests were Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, Vivica A.
