USA 193 Spy Satellite Shot Down

A missile fired from the USS Lake Erie which is stationed in the western Pacific in waters off Hawaii has successfully shot down the crippled USA 193 Spy satellite, the Pentagon announced. The video above made by the folks over at Analytical Graphics and Applied Defense Solutions shows a simulation of how it's likely to happen---- and where the debris goes afterward.

Caution: Federal Emergency Management Agency warned, “Any debris [from the destructed satellite] should be considered potentially hazardous, and first responders should not attempt to pick it up or move it.” So if any suspicious objects you believe to fall from the sky, don't touch them but inform the authorities.
