Kate Silverton, the 37-year-old BBC newsreader, has instructed her lawyer to sue a leading London surgeon Jan Stanek, after a routine laser surgery left her face so badly marked she was unable to work for two weeks.
Dr Jan Stanek was considered to be one of the best cosmetic surgeons in UK. He was the first to use Botox in Britain. He has also appeared on a number of television shows because of his famous reputation.
Kate visited Dr Stanek's clinic in London (picture right) last month. She was advised that the Fraxel laser surgery available at the clinic would be the safest and most effective way to treat some minor scars on her face.
However, Kate suffered a massive skin reaction with painful and unsightly swellings. She had to stay off work for 2 weeks with a bloated face. #Source: MSN; DM
