Robyn Bercovici (pictured left), 27, an alumnae of Boston University and Lolyla University , was found in Lake Michigan near Fullerton Avenue on the North Side in Chicago Saturday afternoon.
Bercovici had left her building last Wednesday night wearing a down coat, but never went back.
At 2:40 p.m. on January 19, officers were called to the 2400 block of North Lake Shore Drive of reports of an unresponsive female body in the water. Rescue workers later successfully recovered the woman's body from the icy lake.
An autopsy Sunday revealed the woman drowned is Robyn Bercovici, but it could not determine how she ended up in the water.
Robyn's death is officially "an unwitnessed drowning". Her funeral service has been arranged and will be provided by Blane Goodman Funeral Service. The obituary and funeral service arrangement below was posted on the website of Blane Goodman

Passed away January 19, 2008, age 27 years, of Chicago, IL, formerly of Bayside. Loving daughter of Edwin and Judith Bercovici. Dear sister of Alicia (David) Green and Jeff (Carina) Bercovici. Fond aunt of Sam and Jonah Green. Further survived by many other caring relatives and friends. Robyn graduated cum laude from Boston University in 2003 and earned a Master's degree in social work from Loyola University in 2006. She dedicated her life to helping the sick and disadvantaged through her practice in psychiatric social work.
Funeral services 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 23, 2008, at Congregation Shalom, 7630 N. Santa Monica Blvd., Fox Point. Interment Mound Zion Cemetery, 14510 W. North Ave., Brookfield. Memorial contributions to St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital, 2233 W. Division St., Chicago, IL 60622, Attn. Development Dept./Rodney Watts or McLean Hospital, 115 Mill St., Belmont, MA 02478 would be appreciated.
The family will receive friends following the service on Wednesday and Thursday at the Bercovici residence, 111 W. Ravine Baye Rd., Bayside.
