Lindsey Paulat, the girlfriend of Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Cedrick Wilson (pictured left), was arrested over her firing two shots at the NFL star's home during a 12-hour stand-off.
Lindsey Paulat, 26, of Tarentum, was charged with aggravated assault and recklessly endangering another person. She was expected to be arraigned today.
The drama began at 1pm on Saturday (January 10) after Paulat had a dispute with Wilson, which caused him to leave his Pine Township home in the Wexford area north of the Pittsburgh city.
Lindsey Paulat was so distraught even her mother couldn't comfort her, as a result she opened fires twice from Wilson's handgun into a wall. When the police were called, Paulat managed to stage an armed standoff and threatened to harm herself.
Considering the threats from her 0.38 caliber handgun, the police evacuated around 70 people living in the area. The incident peacefully ended at around 1am Sunday when Paulat surrendered to the police by throwing the gun from the front door. Link
